I've been using Blender for about 3 months now and I'm completely addicted. I have managed to progress to a point where clients will purchase 3D renders of their products and animated 3D films. But I have been using a 2016 mac book pro for my Blender work and my biggest bottleneck is those darn render times. I've decided I need to invest in a PC for Blender. But I am not a gamer I don't want a gaming PC or even a good PC, I just want to create a Blender PC. So any suggestions for a PC build that will suit these needs? Coming from Mac my knowledge is very limited but I've been watching Linus Tech Tips so I feel pretty confident making the switch ( Joke ). A look at the best PC’s including both desktops and laptops for architecture students and architects. This guide covers computers for CAD work, 3D modelling, and architectural rendering. Describing the most suitable requirements & how to choose a desktop or laptop. Mini personal computers, also known as nettops, are smaller, cheaper versions of a desktop. They use less power, but they can perform many of the basic functions of an average desktop. They use less power, but they can perform many of the basic functions of an average desktop. I've been looking into render farm services but I just like the idea of having everything under one roof. When it comes to the PC components it sounds like you know what you're talking about. What price range do you think I am looking at for this kind of machine. Also are there any good sites for putting together PC builds? Just for reference, my current Mac Book is running a 3.3 GHz Intel Core i7 & memory-wise 16 GB 2133 MHz LPDDR3 finally graphics is Intel Iris Graphics 550 1536 MB I need a machine that obviously outperforms this tenfold. My budget is £1,000.00. Is this possible? ( Thanks for all the help btw. I'm not an expert. Computer busted on me recently and I had to learn computers all over again. Outlook for mac not loading says did not sync to windows 10. 3) If email sync is set to 'No', edit the contact/matter and change it to 'Yes'. 6) Wait 5-10 minutes for the Outlook PracticePanther folder to update. Navigate to a contact or matter that is not showing in Outlook and check that email sync is enabled by following these steps: 1) Navigate to the missing contact/matter page 2) In the about tab, click on 'Sync Settings' to expand this option. 4) Click 'Save'. 5), to sync now! I just like the idea of having everything under one roof. I understand, but if I was a professional. For anything but final renders, what you have is already a good machine. I think Lion offers a free month trial, you might see how well it works out. Finals are always going to be painful unless you put 1000 computers on them. ![]() 3.3 GHz Intel Core i7 outperforms this tenfold £1,000.00 No, I don't think it's possible. To do 10-fold you'd need multiple GPUs or CPUs. Check out for an example of what you can expect. Try testing renders at local computer shops if they'll let you. You should be aiming for at least an Nvidia GTX1060 (assuming your renders aren't going to be ram-limited.) Don't forget to change user preferences and render tab parameters. There are a lot of sites for putting together PC builds, but they're not going to tell you how good of a build it is, especially not for Blender, and the naming structures are ridiculous (a GTX 980 is better than a GTX 1060; xeons have multiple CPUs with the exact same name and different versions; etc etc etc.) If you don't know PCs, I'd really recommend a local computer shop, the service is worth it. Thanks for the reply, usually the scenes are not too large but very high detailed/high poly models. A lot of the work I produce looks very similar to the opening credits in 'The Girl With The Dragon Tatto' water simulations and intense lighting rigs. I understand the GPU route is a two-edged sword when comes to rendering. Quickbooks 2016 serial key list. Vsphere client 4.1 for windows 10. Ideally, it would be great to create the scene on my Mac then export the blender file to a powerful render PC. So I can still work on the scene on my Mac while the previous rendition is rendering. I hope that makes sense, what small PC's would you recommend? Again very new to the PC market. It does make sense, a year ago i was in a similar situation. I bought a cheap gaming pc from someone on ebay, gpu and cpu were decent. This little fella renders now by night and day for my finals - while i enjoy working in a different room (rendering is so noisy, right?!). I just spend 300€ in total for this one, but payed off in the same day. Look for something like an i5 or higher and/or Gtx 970 or higher (at least 8gb gpu-ram/memory). I don't like render farms either. But i don't do animations like you do. My guess is: a renderfarm for your final animation should save you time and therefore money.
